Over the past year, we have presented and participated in various national conferences, including but not limited to The National Sheriffs Association Conference in Phoenix AZ, the National Correctional Health Conference in Las Vegas NV, the Oregon Recovers Recovery Community Summit, and the Arizona State University National ECHO project.
We have been busy delivering training, technical assistance, and coaching nationwide to coordinated care organizations, behavioral health providers, and co-occurring inpatient treatment settings. We are currently offering our TraumaAWAREness trainings such as Keep Calm & Connect, leadership development, supervision, training trainers, and others.
Many organizations are looking to improve their support staff skills, policies procedures and practices in TraumaAWARE approaches, crisis deescalation and workplace wellness. We are humbled by the resounding support that we are receiving to make these principles available globally.
We are working diligently with communities across the globe, to bring our FREE HUGS Suicide Prevention and TraumaAWAREness worldwide.
Changing the conversations revolving around suicide is imperative to reducing the rate of lost lives globally.
According to the World Health Organization, One human dies of suicide every 40 seconds.
These numbers are appalling! AWARE creates conversations that change fear of suicide to hope and possibility, helping families and those providing services to learn to respond, rather than react.
Sincere efforts around the world are not touching the outcomes and ultimately resulting in no real change, just creating more of the same.
Dynamic and progressive efforts must be explored and implemented. Rather than reacting out of fear we are teaching people how to respond with hope. For survivors by survivors. See our Care Oregon Starlight Parade Video here.

Keep Calm and Connect is our core trauma-informed and traumaAWARE care training. It is trained worldwide and becoming the standard for traumaAWARE training across the nation.
Anyone who wants to understand better trauma-informed care and their role in whether or not a situation goes well needs to take this training.
